Newly recruited Force India reserve driver Jules Bianchi crashed early morning session in Thursday testing at Jerez. Damage car was not severe for running, some spare parts too damaged means the VJM05 will not be back on track until Friday.
The youngster made an exciting entrance with the team on Yesterday (second day test). Bianchi had done just two laps when he went off into the gravel before colliding with the tyre wall. Mechanics worked to repair the car, but were forced to concede defeat at lunchtime.
Force India reserve driver was safe and the car was quickly recovered to the pits by marshals, the team has been waiting for a parts to land. At 3pm, it confirmed that it would not be running again today.
“No more running today,” said the team via Twitter. “We are waiting for a part to complete the repair of the car. Should be back out in the morning with Nico Hulkenberg. You always have good and bad days in testing.”
One more time Force India said the team via Twitter “You always have good and bad days in testing. We’ve lost some time today but had two productive days already. Still one more day to go…”
