McLaren announced 2009 world champion Jenson Button will be first appearance in new McLaren MP4-27 at Jerez on February 7.
McLaren has announced that Jenson Button will be debut 2012 MP4-27 when testing begins in Jerez next month. As one of the year’s tests has been moved to Mugello in May, there will now be just three pre-season gatherings, starting with four days in Jerez followed by two more blocks of four days in Barcelona.
McLaren published its provisional driver line-up for 2012 three pre-season testing; Jenson Button will drive in first two days in Jerez. Lewis Hamilton will drive for the final two days.

In final test – also in Barcelona, sees the drivers taking to the track on alternate days with Hamilton finishing the test.
