Kimi come-back to F1 after past two seasons competing in the WRC, now he has preparing for 2012 F1 Challenge. 2007 world champion has continues neck and leg training. The Finn’s physio and trainer Mark Arnall says that he is in good shape.
Finland’s Turun Sanomat reports that – “The neck and leg training continued,” Arnell, who has been working with Raikkonen for almost a decade, said.
“We have made good progress in a positive way, and Kimi is in good shape,”
“He is in the same driving position and the muscle strains are the same as when you are driving,” he said. Only the neck muscles are not getting the same workout because there are no real g-forces.”
Lotus (Renault GP) has said that Kimi Raikkonen will take on extra testing in a 2010 Renault GP at Valencia later this month. The Finn, Kimi returning to Formula 1 this season following two years challenging in WRC, he will drive the former Renault team’s R30 chassis on January 23-24.
