Red Bull Racing advisor Helmut Marko said that the Toro Rosso’s ex- drivers Sebastian Buemi and Jaime Alguersuari have sufficient time in the Toro Rosso, to prove their latent, but they were not hopeful. Marko told In an interview with the Italian Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Toro Rosso was created in order to give chance to young drivers. In Alguersuari and Buemi was three years old – enough to evaluate the progress riders, but we have not seen them in the capacity for further growth. They both deserve in Formula 1, but for us it is not enough – we need winners”. Helmut Marko said.
“In coming years, Toro Rosso will become more autonomous, but the Italian team will remain focused on young drivers. The use of motors Ferrari? The contract ends in 2012, and I cannot say what will happen next, but we’re very pleased to cooperate. “
