Ecclestone: Vettel is greatest F1 driver of all-time

F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone says that youngest double-time world champion Sebastian Vettel as the greatest driver of the current period, and he said Alain Prost show up as legends of the F1.

“Well it’s so difficult to say, with different times and different cars,” Ecclestone, who hails from Bungay in Suffolk, told Al Jazeera when asked to name his. “Everything was different, but the one that everybody sort of glosses over and talks about is Alain Prost. He could have won a couple more races, and he lost (the title) by one point in one place and half a point in another.

“But otherwise, this young guy called Sebastian Vettel at the moment, the German driver. He’s quite superb really, we seem to keep breeding them.”
