2008 world champion Lewis Hamilton happy with the Qualifying improvement at Yas Marina, the British speedy says that “It’s a big improvement for me from the last race at least we were quick.”
Despite setting the pace for much of this evening’s qualifying session, Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel pulled out a fine late lap to deny the Briton of pole position.
“It was a good session, it’s been a good couple of days,” Hamilton explained. “It’s a big improvement for me from the last race at least, we were quick. That was as fast as I was able to get out of my lap, it wasn’t a particularly great lap.
“My lap in Q2 was much better, but that’s the way it is and well done to Seb, he did a great lap and as always was very quick. But the race is tomorrow, that is the most important day.”
