2011 Japanese GP – Suzuka



2011 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix: The Suzuka track is a race circuit in Mie Prefecture, 50 kilometers south of Nagoya.

2011 Japan Grand Prix is scheduled to be held at Suzuka on October 9, 2011. The initial F1 race in Japan was staged in 1976 at the Fuji Speedway. From 1987 to 2006, the Japan GP was held yearly at the Suzuka Circuit, before moving back to its original venue at Fuji Speedway in 2007. From 2008, the grand prix was planned to be held alternately at the Fuji Speedway and Suzuka circuits, but Fuji Speedway withdrew as host in 2009.
