Button says childhood dream drive for Ferrari

Sept.21 – 2009 world champion Jenson Button, who is likely to sign 80 million pound deal for life deal with McLaren, has revealed about he want to drive for Italian outfit Ferrari.

“When I was growing up I was excited about the three big teams – Williams, McLaren and Ferrari. It doesn’t mean you need to drive for Ferrari to fulfill your childhood dreams because as you grow up things change,” the Sun quoted Button, as saying.

“I’m happy and if I can win a championship here I’d be even happier,” he added.

The British speedy Jenson Button had signed a 3 year contract with McLaren in November 2009 for a reported six million pounds per season. Button knows his market rate will soar if he sees off team-mate Lewis Hamilton and bags the drivers’ runner-up spot.
