After his new 2012 contract with Sauber, The Mexican Sergio Pérez has happy with his top ten in race grid at the Hungarian GP. And he save tyres in Q3, the Sauber driver chosen not participates in final phase of Q3.
“I am very happy,” he said, having also managed Q3 in Monaco, only to crash heavily and miss two races as a result. “It is the second time that I have made it into Q3 and the first time I can celebrate it. My fastest lap in Q2 was a really good one, I think we achieved the maximum possible today. The team handled the conditions very well and the strategy was really good. But all that matters is tomorrow; our race pace should be good and I hope I can improve and score some good points.”
