It was dramatic, just a mechanical incident – Sutil

The German Adrian Sutil is says he still has all his teeth even with reports saying he lost them in a crash at the Nordschleife circuit on Wednesday. Force India’s driver Sutil was taking part in a promotional event at the original Nordschleife circuit at the Nurburgring earlier this week driving a Gumpert Apollo.

His run was short lived as he lost control and hit the track fencing, damaging the car. But, some reports in the press claimed he also suffered a bit of damage himself.

Sutil has denied this. “It was dramatic but it was just a mechanical incident,” said the Force India driver.

“Something happened to the car. I lost control a little and hit the barrier at about 10km/h.

“When I opened the newspapers, I laughed out loud. They said I lost all of my teeth.”
