July.20 – The Ferrari F1 has declared an untimely end to its contract with ex-Technical Director Aldo Costa; declare on Wednesday that both parties have jointly agreed to split. Aldo Costa decided to step down from his earlier role of Technical Director two days following the Spanish GP on May 22; six races into what looked set to be a particularly challenging campaign for the Italian-based team.
Following Italian Aldo Costa decision to resign the role, which following saw Pat Fry, Corrado Lanzone and Luca Marmorini take on new technical positions; Ferrari had initially placed the 50-year-old elsewhere within its Formula 1 operation before agreeing to part ways.
