Silverstone warned event is now close to selling out

June.14 – The British Grand Prix organisers have cautioned that the Silverstone race event is now close to selling out. 2011 race, to be staged on 10 July, will mark the first time that F1 cars will set off from the new start and finish complex on the Farm Straight. Oly two three weeks from the race, all grandstand tickets but Vale are now sold out for race day; the Vale stand overlooks, as well as views of the track, the Formula 1 paddock and new pit lane entrance to the Silverstone Wing complex. Individual and family tickets are also still available for Friday and Saturday.

Other than F1, track battle will include GP2 and GP3 plus the Porsche Supercup. Off-track, entertainment will come in the form of concerts, air displays, helicopter pleasure flights and various competitions, with prizes including the chance to access the Saturday afternoon F1 driver autograph session.
