Tonio has been under difficulty in latest races with some suggesting Force India want to substitute him with test driver Paul di Resta. But, the 28-year-old says he has a agreement with them until 2011 and after that his dream is safe a seat at his favorite team.
“Everything is going well at Force India and I have an agreement with the team for the whole of the 2011 season. But my aim and dream is to drive for McLaren, which has always been my favourite team.”
“We have done a great job when you look at the budget we have available,” he said. “We feel optimistic because those who now more financial support must learn to work with less money.”
Looking ahead to the remainder of the season, Liuzzi says Force India is setting their sights on Renault.
“In Montreal we were leading by half a second,” he added. We want to maintain this kind of level and will be ready to take advantage if the opportunity arises. Our aim is to try to catch Renault in the Constructors’ Championship.”
