The Ferrari Team Principal Stefano Domenicali has suggested that The Brazilian Felipe Massa will be keep on put at Ferrari next season, amid much rumors than the Brazilian could be replaced alongside Fernando Alonso, perhaps by Renault’s Kubica. Among Alonso having won a race and normally out-paced his new team-mate so far this season, Massa lies 14 points at the back ahead of the Turkish GP, meaning a podium place would be required to leapfrog his team-mate in Istanbul, should Alonso not attain.
When asked by the BBC whether Ferrari would keep its line-up the same for 2011, Domenicali’s reply was in the positive.
“Yes, I think so, yes” he smiled. “Massa was struggling with the hard tyres in certain conditions in the first part of the year, so I think that is the area we need to work with him so he has more confidence in the car.
“It’s easy to criticise a driver when he’s not performing well, so we need to make sure the package for him is the best.”
